So I'm calling it a night. I didn't finish but I'm getting closer to the end. I really wanted to churn the rest of the big bang out today but it's just not gonna happen.

Although, final word count for the day is 27,043. I still have a few more parts to write and hopefully get this thing done in the next few days.

Holy crap I made progress. Part one of my big bang is "done enough" that I feel I can move on. Let me tell you it is hard to think of a name for an original monster/creature that isn't already used. Official word count for my big bang: 26,632.  Not bad for a story that didn't exist even in outline form before I signed up back in January.  I'm about halfway through the story, I think.  There is going to be a strong possibility for a sequel.
